The political youth organization with the old history renewed its leadership at the 22nd DEMYC Congress in the ancient city of Athens.
Young delegates of DEMYC member organizations from all around Europe met in Athens to elect their new leadership and to discuss the topic «The path of the western Balkans towards the European Union». Distinguished politicians, among which the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mrs. Dora Bakogianni, the Minister of Defence Mr. Evaggelos Meimarakis and the Minister of Public Health Mr. Dimitris Avraamopoulos, informed the participants about the current issues in the area and were engaged in vivid discussions on the flaming issue.
The new DEMYC Bureau for the years 2008-2010 was elected on the last day of the Congress as follows:
